Candidate must possess a Degree in Information Systems / Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent.
4 - 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
Expertise in one of the following development environments is required
Java / JSP / PHP
Knowledge on Ruby on Rails is helpful
Comfortable working with at least one dynamically typed scripting language like Ruby, Python, Perl or Smalltalk.
Demonstrated ability in designing complex database-oriented backend application systems.
Comfortable working in a heterogenous development environment where you will be working with multiple languages and technologies.
Competent working with web services (SOAP, REST, JSON etc.)
Knowledge in the following areas will be a plus:
MySQL database administration
Linux O/S administration
Network management
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Self starter with minimal direct supervision and who's anxious to start producing.
Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
